Upon completion of this Practical course, the students will be able to CO9: Acquire knowledge and practical experience in the design and implementation of vegetation surveys and develop a comprehensive understanding of vegetation ecology. CO10: Develop an understanding to identify flora and fauna in terrestrial commUnities CO11: Apply their knowledge and skills in vegetation ecology to describe the effects of disturbances on plant commUnities CO12: Appreciate the need to be well versed with issues related to environment and its protection |
Approach in teaching: Conduction of practical exercises, Interpretation of results obtained after conduction of practicals, field visits Learning activities for the students: Preparation of flow charts for conduction of practical exercises, Interpretation of results according to the given study sites, Browsing through informative portals such as ENVIS |
