Visit to Jaipur Ready Mix Company, Mohanpura  Jaipur

Objective of the Event: The Visit was organized for the students of PG programme of the department to acquaint them with the process of manufacturing of cement mix and pollution control equipments used.

Description:  A visit to Jaipur Ready Mix Company was organized by the department with an aim to make the students learn about the different types of eco-friendly construction material used in buildings. The company is a supplier of composite material for construction of buildings. The students could learn about the different ecofriendly raw material used for construction like fly ash as one of the component of ready mix. The group could also visit the lab in the industry, and learnt about the testing of quality of the construction material. Students also learnt about the Environmental Management systems used by the industry

Outcome of the visit: Students gained in depth knowledge about the process of making eco friendly construction material mix and learnt about the Environmental Management Systems  of the industry.
