Objective: 

Course objectives

This course will enable the students to -

  1. Impart knowledge and develop interdisciplinary skills for conducting Environmental impact assessments for new development projects and understand the role of EIA in sustainable development
  2. Promote environmentally sound and sustainable development through the identification of appropriate enhancement and mitigation measures for development projects
  3. Understand applications of remote sensing and GIS in Environmental Conservation
