Objective of the Event

Increasing pace of life is leading to ignorance towards our natural environment. The series of event organized by the department during the wildlife week is a step towards conserving the concern towards the nature. Thus the wildlife week is celebrated worldwide between 1-7 October every year to spread awareness regarding importance of wildlife and their habitat for sustaining life on earth. In order to celebrate the wildlife week 2021, a visit was organized to Nahargarh Biological park, Jaipur by the disciple, Environmental Science and Ecofriendly association of the University on 4th October 2021.

Description:

A group of 21 students along with two faculty members visited the biological park, Jaipur. The major aim to organize the visit was to make students aware of the various faunal and floral species in the biological park. The major objective of the visit was to acquaint students with the flora and faunal diversity of the area.

Outcome of the event:

The students could also understand the classification and characteristics of the animals by going through the details encrypted on the boards in the park and also by observing the animals. The visit could create a sense of responsibility towards nature amongst the students.
