As part of the Wildlife Week festivities (1-7 October 2024), a special film screening of ‘Dr. Dolittle’ was organized by the Department of Environmental Science and Eco-Friendly association on 7th October 2024 in room number A602 from 10:00 to 11:00 am.
Wildlife week aims to raise awareness about wildlife conservation, and the screening of the movie was a fun and engaging way to inspire students to connect with animals and understand the importance of caring for them. A total of 11 students attended the film screening.
Dr. Dolittle is a whimsical film about a doctor who discovers his unique ability to talk to animals. His ability takes him on thrilling adventures with various animal friends, where he leans valuable lessons about friendship, responsibility and the importance of understanding and protecting animals. The movie’s humorous and heartfelt portrayal of animals offered an ideal way to introduce younger audiences to themes of wildlife conservation.
Students appreciated the film’s positive message, noting that it provided a perfect blend of entertainment and educational content.
