Upon completion of this course, students will: CO37: Explain sources, types and composition of solid waste along with methods of handling, sampling and storage of waste. CO38: Explain the hierarchical structure in solid waste management and device methods for waste minimization and energy recovery from solid waste CO39: Plan and develop a programme for recycling and reuse of solid waste for an integrated solution CO40: Devise the appropriate method for hazardous and E- waste waste collection, transportation, redistribution and disposal CO41: Integrate modern treatment systems for effective management of biomedical waste to minimize health hazards CO42: Develop an economical and eco-friendly solid waste management strategies in accordance with legal legislations devised for solid waste management |
