Upon completion of this Practical course, the students will: CO05: Examine the physical, chemical and biological properties of soil. CO06: Analyze the effects of chemical, biological, and physical properties that affect nutrient availability, water availability, root zone aeration, land use, and environmental sustainability of soil resources. CO07: Critically examine the soil characteristics that affect plant growth and development. CO08: Appraise the problems related to wildlife conservation and management through fact file making and map plotting. |
Approach in teaching: Conduction of practical exercises Interpretation of results obtained after conduction Learning activities for the students: Preparation of flow charts for conduction of practical exercises, Interpretation of results according to the given samples, Field Visit, Map Activity, Browsing through informative portals such as ENVIS |
