Objective: 

Course objectives

This course will enable the students to -

  1. Develop interdisciplinary skills for conducting Environmental impact assessment for new development projects and understand the role of EIA in sustainable development
  2. Promote environmentally sound and sustainable development through the identification of appropriate enhancement and mitigation measures for development projects

Upon completion of this course, student will be able to:

CO69:  Develop skill to conduct Environmental impact assessment independently by examining the environmental consequences of projects prior to its establishment

CO70:  Execute Environmental Audit independently

CO71:  Establish Environmental Consultancy for conducting EIA and prepare EIS

CO72:Evaluate the development projects and suggest mitigative methods for sustainable development
