ENV 222

Environmental Impact Assessment and Remote Sensing

Upon   completion             of             this

course, student will:

CO43: Develop skill to conduct

Environmental     impact

assessment               independently                     by

examining   the               environmental

consequences of projects prior

to its establishment

CO44:    Execute Environmental

Audit        independently for

sustainable management of industrial processes.

CO45: Establish Environmental Consultancy for conducting EIA and prepare EIS

CO46:           Evaluate the development projects and suggest mitigative methods for sustainable development

CO47: Design new methods for evaluating             Environmental problems for proposed development projects

CO48: Compute knowledge of

remote sensing, GIS and GPS for environmental conservation

Approach in teaching: Interactive Lectures, Group Discussions, Case studies
