Environmental Impact Assessment
This course will enable the students to –
- Apply theory and practice of environmental impact assessment (EIA), as a tool to attain sustainable development. The course provides an overview of the concepts, methods, issues and various forms and stages of the EIA process.
- Help students learn the process of consideration of the environment in the planning and decision- making process to arrive at actions that avoid or minimize adverse impacts on the environment
