As a part of the celebration of World Wildlife Week, the department of Environmental Science and Eco-friendly association organized a guest lecture on the “Research being conducted to conserve Leopard in Jaipur”. The lecture was delivered by Dr. Joy Gardener, an Environmentalist and chairman of HOPE, a NGO working in the field of Wildlife conservation.   Dr. Gardner discussed the threat to leopards due to  human interference in their territory and its adverse effects. The lecture was attended by the students of faculty of Science.

Dr. Gardner also shared results obtained during his research related to Wild life human conflict and several measures which can be adopted to conserve leopards and other wild life. He also shred several case studies to elaborate the topic. Dr. Gardner also invited students to volunteer for research studies related to wild life conservation which they can adopt as there career. The lecture proved to be very enriching and thought provoking.
