Objective of the Event: To discuss wildlife toxicity caused by metals in the Environment

Description: In order to celebrate the Wildlife Week 1-7 October 2024, a hand holding activity was organized amongst the students of B.Sc. and M.Sc. Environmental Science. During the activity students M.Sc. Sem III students gave presentations regarding wildlife toxicology caused by different heavy metals like Pb, Mg, As etc. in the Environment due to anthropogenic activities. The activity initiated a good discussion regarding this important issue among the students. Students also discussed the major organizations working in this field and also discussed the steps that can be taken by an individual to address this issue.

Outcome of the Activity: Students could understand about the major causes of Wildlife Toxicology and the major control measures that can be adopted.
