Dissertation

CO159: Identify and articulate a research problem or question suitable for investigation in a dissertation.

CO160: Demonstrate proficiency in conducting comprehensive literature reviews relevant to the dissertation topic.

CO161: Demonstrate competency in selecting appropriate research methods and techniques for data collection and analysis.

CONTENTS

Each student is to undertake a research study and prepare an extensive report under the guidance of any one of the faculty members. The practical work is to be conducted this semester and the bound form of the Dissertation Thesis has to be submitted for the partial fulfillment of the award of B.Sc. Research in Environmental Science. The student shall have to give a PowerPoint presentation of the work done for the semester-end evaluation. The student is also expected to write a research paper on the work done in the dissertation and get it published in a research journal.
