Guest Lecture on “Environment and Society: Critical Role of Environmental Sciences in Sustainable Development”

The department of Enivironmental & Life Science organized a guest lecture on for UG and PG students of department of Environmental and LifeSciences. The topic for the lecture was “Environment and Society: Critical Role of Environmental Sciences in Sustainable Development” and the speaker was Mr. Neeraj Doshi (Environmentalist), Co Founder: Jaipur Water Initiative; The Happy Store; Rajasthan Innovation Promotion and Entrepreneurship Network. The main area of focus was sustainable development, efficient resource utilization, deforestation and its effects, water conservation, etc. Mr. Neeraj provided detailed information regarding current resource use patterns and alternate ways by which we can minimize exploitation of our resources. He also told students about various carrier opportunities in Environmental Science field.
