Educational tour to Ranthambore National Park,Sawai madhopur,Rajasthan

Visit to Ranthambore National Park Sawai Madhopur,Rajasthan on 20-21 January 2016

 

The department of Environmental Science and Eco-friendly association organized a two day visit to Rathambore national park at Sawai Madhopur,Rajasthan on 20 and 21st January 2016.A group of 29 students were escorted by two teachers for the visit.

On 20th,after reaching sawai Madhopur, the group enjoyed the dance party at the Siddhi Vinayank resort followed by dinner.

On 21st the group went for the safari in canters on the pleasant morning. During the visit to the jungle it was a pleasure viewing the various species of birds and animals. The group was fortunate enough to have a glance of the tiger.

After the visit to the jungle, the group visited the Ranthambore fort which spreads in an area of 8 Km. Ranthambore Fort lies within the Ranthambore National Park, near the town of Sawai Madhopur, the park being the former hunting grounds of the Maharajahs of Jaipur until the time of India's Independence. The fort offers many architectural and historical sites for viewing and photographing.

The visit proved to be fruitful as the students gained knowledge about the various wild plants and animal species and the forest ecosystem.
