Practical: Environmental Monitoring & Statistical analysis |
CO25: Accurately calculate measures of central tendency and dispersion and perform statistical tests such as t-test, correlation & regression, ANOVA, etc. using Microsoft Excel, or other relevant software. CO26: Develop the skills to conduct a range of physicochemical water quality analyses and the ability to interpret the observed results CO27: Analyze data collected using respiratory dust and Handy samplers, interpreting the levels of respirable dust in ambient air and both respirable and suspended particulate matter indoors CO28: Create a green file on current environmental issues, and accurately document experimental procedures and results in the practical file ensuring comprehensive and precise records of laboratory activities & understanding of contemporary environmental challenges CO29: Contribute effectively in course-specific interaction |
Approach in teaching: Conduction of practical exercises, Interpretation of results obtained after analysis of samples Learning activities for the students: Preparation of flow charts for conduction of practical exercises, Interpretation of results according to the given case studies |
Preparation of practical records, Monitoring programme planning based on case studies, Class tests, Viva Voce |
