Course objectives
This course will enable the students to -
1. Make the students learn the practical aspect of the vegetation dynamics, qualitative and quantitative analysis of soil parameters and air quality analysis for applying preventive and corrective measures
2. Appraise students about the various aspects and methods of soil quality analysis for remediation of polluted soils for environmental sustainability

Upon completion of the practical course, student will: CO61: Recognize and apply soil fertility concepts and land use to ensure that land is managed in a sustainable manner CO62: Execute soil tests protocols and use the obtained data to assess the suitability of soils to grow a variety of crops by forming a crop nutrient plan CO63: Develop basic understanding of the influence of underlying geology on soil function CO64: Design and conduct wildlife survey with help of contemporary tools and techniques that provide some of the data on which wildlife management programs are based CO65: Appraise the problems related to wildlife conservation and management through fact file making and map plotting CO66: Develop field skills to describe soil morphology, classify soils and make land use interpretations

VISIT
In this semester it is compulsory for each student to visit a National Park/ any natural habitat/ Sanctuary/Research organization/Industry and prepare a report of the same, marks for which will be added in practical exam.
