Environmental Management and Sustainability

Upon    completion             of this  course,  students will:

  • CO55: Encourage students to appreciate the paradigm “think globally, act locally”          for a sustainable common future of humankind
  • CO56: Appraise the Indian constitutional          provisions concerning environmental protection and the need for environmental legislation
  • CO57: Examine the practice and procedure followed by various environmental law enforcing agencies/bodies.
  • CO58: Relate to the importance of environmental laws related to the conservation of the environment, forest, wildlife and biodiversity
  • CO59: Analyze and relate to the scenario of environmental education at the national and international levels
  • CO60: Analyze the role of international/ national environmental institutions, summits, Government and community involvement in promoting the cause of environment.
