Course objectives
This course will enable the students to -
- Gain scientific perspective of the issues confronting our present day environment
- Appreciate the paradigm “think globally, act locally” for a sustainable common future of humankind
- Understand the strengths and weaknesses in environmental laws and its enforcement for developing strategies to overcome the same
- Gain insights into the importance of Environmental Education at different levels
