CO77: Examine different types of natural hazards, their major driving forces/factor, and their causes.

CO78: Evaluate the relationship/interface between geophysical processes and human activities in causing natural hazards with emphasis on disaster preparedness, response and recovery

CO79: Analyse the causes and impacts of industrial disasters, including nuclear and chemical disasters, on human health, the environment, and socio-economic structures

CO80: Appraise the methodologies for identifying and assessing disaster risks and strategies for reducing disaster risks

CO81: Appraise the disaster profile of India and evaluate the institutional frameworks of India, assessing their strengths and weaknesses in responding to diverse disaster scenarios
