Visit to Pest Museum (Rajasthan Agriculture Research Institute), Durgapura, Jaipur

The Department of Environmental Science organized a visit for the UG, PG students to the Pest Museum (Rajasthan Agriculture Research Institute), Durgapura on 9^th August, 2016. The purpose of the visit was to give information about the life cycle, anatomy, habitat, physiology etc of various pests attacking the crops on bigger scale and about the household techniques used by the farmers for controlling the pests.

Prof. A. S. Baloda, Entomology Department also explained about their ongoing projects for controlling the pests without using pesticides. The whole visit to the museum was found to be fruitful for the students.
