Objective of the Event: The primary objective of the activity was to raise awareness and educate students about the importance of wildlife conservation.

Description:

The quiz was organized as part of the Wildlife Week celebration, which is observed annually from the 1^st to the 7^th of October to celebrate and protect the rich biodiversity of our planet. The quiz was hosted on the Kahoot online platform, a popular gamified learning tool, which made it accessible and engaging for participants. The quiz consisted of multiple-choice questions, each covering various aspects of wildlife, including biodiversity, conservation efforts, endangered species, and their importance in the ecosystem. The quiz was conducted for over 30 minutes, allowing participants to answer questions in real-time. A total of 17 UG and PG students of Environmental Science participated in the same. The quiz followed standard Kahoot rules, with a time limit for each question to keep participants engaged. Ms. Bhagyalaxmi Verma, M.Sc Sem III (Environmental Science) stood first in the quiz. All the students actively participated and thoroughly enjoyed the activity. The Kahoot platform's gamified nature encouraged active participation and engagement among students, making learning about wildlife conservation enjoyable and interactive.

Outcome of the event: The quiz successfully raised awareness about the importance of wildlife conservation and the critical role it plays in maintaining the ecological balance. Participants were able to expand their knowledge on various wildlife-related topics, including endangered species, habitat protection, and conservation strategies.
