Pollution monitoring and control |
Upon completion of this course, students will CO43: Design monitoring programmes for various pollutants which would help in planning a monitoring and analysis of pollutants CO44: Develop sustainable methods of pollution control at using basic principles of various pollution control equipments CO45: Design pollution prevention and remediation techniques as per the requirement of the establishment/Industry CO46: Formulate plan for monitoring of various environmental pollutants which would help in Environmental impact assessment CO47: Investigate the problems due to various industrial processes and related emissions CO48: Select suitable cost effective and environmentally sustainable methods for pollution prevention at source by applying the concept of process modification |
Approach in teaching: Guided and shared readings, Discussions, Demonstration, Use of informative videos, discussion of case studies Learning activities for the students: Analysis and suggestions of case studies, Power point presentations for result analysis of research papers |
