Guest Lecture on Environmental Issues [1]

The Department of Environmental Science and Eco-friendly Association organized a guest lecture by Prof. T.I. Khan from  Indira Gandhi Centre for HEEPS, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur, on the topic  “Environmental Issues” held on 31st January 2015.

Prof. Khan discussed the factors influencing environmental degradation .He gave an elaborative overview of the anthropogenic factors leading to climate change, soil degradation, global warming and other such environmental issues. Prof. Khan emphasized on the significance, need and scope of Environmental Science in academics and research for remediation of the emerging problems.

The talk  proved to be beneficial for the students in understanding the scope and career opportunities in the field of Environmental Science.
