Course objectives:
This course will enable the students to -
- Learn ecological principles, policies, and practices required for natural resources management and conservation
- Promote the conservation and protection of natural resources and guide the acceptable use of resources
- Lay emphasis on equitable and efficient distribution of natural resources and its management for sustainable development

Upon completion of this course students will be able to: CO5: Integrate sustainability as a practice in life, society and industry CO6: Develop an objective view of the nature of Earth’s resources, particularly the non-renewable resources CO7: Explain how and where the Earth’s resources are generated, how they are extracted and used, and how these activities impact Earth’s environment CO8: Develop perspectives on sustainability by looking into different ways of conservation of the natural resources and their management |
